Emily Brewer, DCNP is a long-time resident of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Emily is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Knoxville where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her Master of Science in Nursing from Southern Adventist University where she graduated summa cum laude. Emily is double board certified as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner, as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Emily has been practicing as a Dermatology Nurse Practitioner since 2008.
Emily specializes in medical and surgical dermatology and is proficient in diagnosing and managing dermatology disorders in adult and pediatric patients. With 16 years of experience, along with extensive training, she is able to diagnose and properly treat over 3,000 diseases of the skin, hair and nails.
Emily is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as well as a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) through the Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA). She is licensed by the Tennessee State Board of Nursing. Emily also serves as a clinical educator to future nurse practitioners and physician associates through various university programs. During her spare time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband and their two daughters.
